GrooveScope is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary to provide our service:

• Usage Data: Anonymous website interaction statistics to help us improve GrooveScope (for example, landing-page visits and clicks from the site to the Chrome Web Store). We use random identifiers for this telemetry and do not include watched video URLs, video IDs, titles, page content, or audio data.
• Attribution Data: When you arrive via a marketing link, we may retain a random attribution identifier and campaign parameters in a first-party cookie for up to 30 days to measure campaign traffic and Chrome Web Store click-throughs. We compare this with aggregate Chrome Web Store installation reporting; we do not identify individual installs. We do not put your email address or an ad-platform lead ID in this cookie or in website analytics events.
• Account Information: If you create an account or purchase a license, we collect your email address and payment information. Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor.

GrooveScope interacts with YouTube and Samplette to render waveforms. We do not share your data with these platforms beyond what is necessary for the extension to function. We use Stripe to process payments and may use a privacy-focused analytics provider to process the pseudonymous usage and attribution events described above on our behalf; neither service receives your browsing history, watched-video data, audio, or raw email address for analytics.

• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of analytics collection
• Uninstall the extension at any time, which removes all locally stored data
